Apart from the apparent lack of consistency, most of your audience wants to see more than just product. 😅😄
Consumers See Products Non-Stop, Day After Day.
They really care about:
You and Your People
Your Company
Interesting Information/ Topics
Solving Their Problem
Having a conversation with you
Having fun and being entertained
👉It's essential to strike a balance between showcasing your products and engaging with your customers.
Social media serves as a versatile tool that fulfills different needs for different individuals; as a business you must be versatile with your posts as well. 👊
1. Consistency Is Key
Post something 3-5 times per week. To help make this easier, make a social media calendar - which includes your content topic and schedule. Plan your content at least 1 month in advance. This will take a few hours of work BUT will pay dividends. Scrambling for creative content at the last second is not fun; and usually, the results speak for themselves.
2. Test Different Formats
Video, plain text, carousel, image. Which one performs the best at a given time is always subject to change. Have fun testing. Be creative. If it doesn’t perform as you hoped, try again. The nice thing about digital content is that you can keep making more.
3. Test Different Types of posts
Keep it interesting, your audience will lose interest quickly if you don’t keep it fresh. Here are a some ideas for posts you should consider:
Promotions and Discounts
Customer Testimonials
Behind-the-Scenes Content
Special events in the company or community
Staff birthdays and anniversaries
Polls and Surveys
Inspirational Quotes - who doesn't need a positive pick me up!
Tutorials, Q&A
Fun stuff - tips, throwbacks - be creative and have fun
Product is still good, just not all the time 🙂
This point cannot be stressed enough! ✨ It's not just about posting content; it's about building relationships, sparking conversations, and creating a sense of community. Remember to listen to your followers, respond to their comments, and show genuine interest in their thoughts and opinions.
You can also give employees access to the social media accounts and let them record stories where they talk about their day at work.
The more you invite your audience to interact with you, the more valuable your social media accounts will become for generating real, qualified leads.
5. Review your Metrics Monthly
This is Key!! 💫 Once a month, go back and take a look at your accounts. A couple of easy key performance indicators are
Engagement - Likes, comments, shares and clicks
Follower Growth
Click through Rate
Don’t waste time reviewing metrics daily or weekly. Social media is a long-term engagement strategy, not a place to expect quick-hits.

6. Keep up to Date on Your Competitors' Pages
I’m not suggesting you copy someone else’s work!
Regularly monitoring your competitors can help you stay competitive and adapt your own social media tactics to stay ahead in the ever-evolving digital landscape.
Do your Research and Stay Ahead!
By staying informed about what your competitors are doing on social media, you can identify trends, gather inspiration, and even discover areas where you can differentiate and improve your social media presence.
7. Make Sure Your Content is Clear
If your aim is to boost sales - clarity in intent will guide your content creation, audience targeting, and overall strategy.
Set specific goals and objectives from the start. Remember, a well-defined purpose not only helps you stay focused but also enables you to track and measure the effectiveness of your efforts, ultimately leading to more impactful and successful social media campaigns.
Know your audience, define your purpose in each post, be straightforward, proofread each post. AND…….
Make Sure to Have a CALL TO ACTION in every Post or Caption. 💥
